Role Description The Barista role at Martini is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo. The Barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, and other beverages according to Martini standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Daily responsibilities include brewing drinks, handling food preparation related to the bar, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and following hygiene and safety guidelines. The Barista will engage with guests, answer questions about the beverage menu, and deliver attentive customer service that supports Martini's hospitality-focused approach. This role also involves working closely with the team, participating in ongoing training, and contributing to a welcoming, efficient bar environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong barista skills, including beverage preparation, espresso-based drink making, and familiarity with specialty coffee and tea.
• Candidates should possess solid food preparation skills, with attention to hygiene, consistency, and safe handling of ingredients.
• Candidates should possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Candidates should possess clear communication skills, including the ability to explain menu items and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Relevant experience in cafés, restaurants, or hospitality environments is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and handle peak service times efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling is an advantage.
• Training in food safety or barista certification is a plus.
