Role Overview
As a Barista at our Store Caf, you will play a key role in crafting delicious coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to delight our customers. As part of our team in Store Operations, you'll work in an ONSITE environment with daily opportunities to interact with both people and their pets, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Your passion for exemplary service, beverage preparation, and pet-friendly engagement will help create a unique and inviting caf atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to exact recipe specifications and customer requests.
- Deliver warm, friendly, and efficient service, guiding guests through the menu and accommodating special needs or requests.
- Engage positively with customers pets, fostering a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere for both pets and their owners.
- Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash, and operate the POS system responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all caf areas, including dish washing, counter cleaning, and equipment upkeep.
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies, assist with restocking, and promptly report shortages or equipment problems.
- Collaborate effectively with other caf staff and pet shop team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a cohesive customer experience.
Must Have Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in a direct customer service role.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation methods and caf operations.
- Strong communication skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
