Position Summary
As a Bartender at Capital Motion you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality beverages while delivering exceptional guest service in both indoor lounges and outdoor beachside areas. You will create memorable experiences through your mixology skills, product knowledge, and engaging personality. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, open-air hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to outlet standards and recipes.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and energetic manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies and garnishes.
- Ensure proper handling of glassware, spirits, and bar tools.
- Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and company policies.
- Assist in setting up and closing down bar stations before and after service.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with professionalism.
- Collaborate with barbacks and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Support special events, activations, and VIP service as required.
- Create a welcoming and lively atmosphere at the bar.
- Provide personalized recommendations and beverage pairings.
- Ensure timely and accurate service during peak hours.
- Contribute to a memorable beach club experience through engaging service and product knowledge.
Standard Compliance
- Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and hygiene protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar areas and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures for handling beverages, tools, and equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or guest incidents promptly.
- Ensure compliance with local laws regarding alcohol service and guest safety.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing beverages and supplies.
Teamwork Communication
- Work closely with barbacks, fellow bartenders, and service teams.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and management teams.
- Participate in team briefings and training sessions.
- Support team goals and contribute to a positive working environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications Skills
- Minimum 23 years of bartending experience in hospitality or F B.
- Strong mixology skills and knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory procedures.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in beach club or outdoor hospitality settings is a strong advantage.
Physical Requirement
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
- Lift, carry, and transport items up to 25 kg independently.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, tools, and bar equipment.
- Able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and tolerate exposure to heat, sun, and beachside conditions.
