OVERVIEW
At Rosewood AMAALA, the Bartender (Non-Alcoholic Mixologist) is a curator of elevated beverage experiences, specializing in sophisticated, alcohol-free creations. This role focuses on crafting innovative mocktails, wellness drinks, and artisanal beverages that reflect the destination's ethos of luxury, wellness, and sustainability—while delivering Rosewood's signature Relationship Hospitality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver intuitive, personalized, and engaging service to all guests.
- Recommend bespoke non-alcoholic beverages tailored to guest preferences and wellness needs.
- Create memorable interactions by sharing stories behind ingredients, flavors, and inspirations.
- Maintain a polished, confident, and luxury-focused presence at all times.
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of premium alcohol-free beverages including:
- Signature mocktails
- Fresh juices and cold-pressed blends
- Herbal infusions and teas
- Functional and wellness drinks
- Specialty coffees and handcrafted beverages
- Innovate and develop unique drink concepts inspired by local ingredients and global trends.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic presentation of the bar.
- Monitor stock levels of fresh produce, syrups, garnishes, and specialty ingredients.
- Minimize waste and ensure proper storage of perishable items.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of:
- Flavor profiling and pairing
- Herbs, botanicals, and superfoods
- Specialty teas, coffees, and infusions
- Stay updated on global trends in non-alcoholic mixology and wellness beverages.
- Collaborate with culinary and wellness teams to create integrated guest experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a luxury hotel, high-end café, juice bar, or wellness-focused beverage outlet.
- Certification in mixology, barista skills, or beverage crafting is an advantage.
- Experience in non-alcoholic mixology or wellness beverages is highly preferred.
- Pre-opening experience is an added advantage.
