We are a fast-growing petrochemical trading company with an active presence across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. As part of our expansion, we are looking for an experienced Base Oil / Petrochemical Trader to strengthen our trading desk and drive new business.
Key Responsibilities- Trade base oils and related petrochemical products (Group I, II, III preferred)
- Develop and manage supplier and customer relationships globally
- Originate new trading opportunities and close spot and term deals
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance teams
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and arbitrage opportunities
Requirements- Proven experience in base oil or petrochemical trading
- Strong network of suppliers and buyers
- Solid understanding of international trade terms (Incoterms, LC, payment terms)
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver results
- Experience trading in Asia, Africa, or Middle East markets is a plus
