BAU Support Specialist – AML Filtering System (Firco)

About the Role

We are looking for a BAU Support Specialist – AML Filtering System (Firco) to provide Business-as-Usual (BAU) support for daily sanctions list and rule updates using IBM SaaS Firco. The role involves managing filtering operations, creating suppression rules, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and supporting knowledge transfer to permanent staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily sanction list updates in IBM SaaS Firco.
• Analyze hit results and create suppression rules to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with bank teams for daily BAU activities and process planning.
• Prepare operational documentation and support knowledge transfer to newly hired staff.
• Maintain reports and documentation using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 5 -10 years of relevant experience in AML operations or BAU support.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with IBM SaaS Firco, including Utility Tools.
• Experience in sanctions list management, hit analysis, and suppression rule creation.
• Strong understanding of AML, sanctions screening, and compliance processes.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong documentation, coordination, and knowledge transfer skills.
• Experience working with or supporting Japanese companies is an advantage.
