Role Description The Beach Lifeguard role at Coastline LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Thuwal. The lifeguard is responsible for monitoring designated beach and swimming areas, ensuring the safety of all visitors and responding quickly and appropriately to emergencies. Day-to-day tasks include observing water and weather conditions, enforcing safety rules, providing clear instructions to beachgoers, and performing rescues and first aid as needed. The role also involves conducting regular inspections of safety equipment, maintaining clean and organized lifeguard stations, and completing incident and activity reports. The Beach Lifeguard collaborates with colleagues and supervisors to uphold high safety standards and contribute to a positive, respectful environment for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Strong swimming ability and water-rescue skills, including confidence in open-water environments.
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic life support; current lifesaving certifications are highly preferred.
• Situational awareness and risk assessment skills to identify hazards and prevent incidents.
• Clear, calm verbal communication skills to direct beach users and coordinate with emergency services.
• Ability to remain alert, focused, and physically active for extended periods in outdoor conditions.
• Commitment to following safety protocols, company policies, and international best practices.
• Professional, respectful conduct toward people of all ages and backgrounds, with strong customer service orientation.
• Previous lifeguard, aquatic safety, or coastal facility experience is an advantage; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
