Job Title: BBS (Behavioral Based Safety) Supervisor

Job Location: Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Job type/Contract: Contractual (Single Status). Start on as soon as possible

Starting date: 01/03/26 (Asap)

Duration: 01/03/26 to 28/02/27

Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid). 10 hours per day (including 1 hour break)

Salary range: Excellent salary package with benefits.

rJob Summary: The BBS Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) program within the organization. This role focuses on promoting safe work practices by observing employee behaviors, providing feedback, and driving safety culture improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement the BBS program, ensuring it aligns with organizational safety goals and regulatory requirement
  • Feedback and Coaching: Provide constructive feedback and coaching to employees to reinforce safe behaviors and correct unsafe practice
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of observations, feedback, and safety performance metrics. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Safety Campaigns: Organize and develop and lead safety campaigns and initiatives to promote a safe behavioral attitude
  • Communication: Communicate safety performance and BBS program updates to all levels of the organization, including management and employee
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the BBS program based on feedback, data analysis, and industry best practices
  • Behavioral Observations: Conduct regular observations of employee behaviors to identify safe and unsafe practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably within the construction or oil and gas industry
  • Certifications: IOSH, NEBOSH, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
