Bids Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Bids Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, preparing sales proposals, and supporting the sales process from lead generation to contract completion. The role also requires managing government procurement portal documentation to ensure compliance with tender requirements

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

* Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations.

* Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms with customers.

* Follow up on leads and maintain an updated sales pipeline.

* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

* Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

* Maintain accurate sales records and prepare periodic sales reports.

* Check, prepare, and upload tender documentation on government procurement platforms (such as Etimad and Taheel), ensuring all required information and supporting documents are complete, accurate, and submitted within the specified deadlines.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and tender submission requirements.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

* 2–5 years of experience in sales or business development.

* Experience with government tenders and procurement platforms is an advantage.

* Knowledge of Etimad and Taheel platforms is highly preferred.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

* Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
