We are seeking a qualified BIM MEP Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design, modelling, and coordination of MEP systems for landscape projects, open public spaces, and outdoor infrastructure developments.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in BIM-based MEP design, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with a strong understanding of sustainable outdoor utilities, infrastructure networks, and compliance with relevant authorities.
A minimum of 4 years of design experience in similar project types in Abu Dhabi is required.
The BIM MEP Engineer will be responsible for the design, modelling, coordination, and documentation of MEP systems for landscape environments and public realm projects. This includes external lighting networks, irrigation pumping systems, drainage, firefighting, power distribution, water supply.
Responsibilities:
Design and analysis of MEP systems for landscape and public space projects.
Develop BIM-based MEP models using Revit, integrating with architecture, structure, and landscape disciplines.
Prepare detailed drawings, reports, calculations, BOQs, load schedules, and technical specifications aligned with ADM & DMT requirements.
Coordinate MEP designs with consultants, contractors, BIM managers, and authority representatives for accuracy and compliance.
Support IFC drawings, shop drawings, and MEP implementation documents for construction.
Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and method statements.

Core MEP Skills:
External electrical and lighting systems design
Irrigation pumping, water supply, and control systems
Drainage, stormwater, firefighting, and utility networks
Load calculations, sizing, and authority approvals
Coordination of services in the external built environment
Knowledge of sustainability and energy-efficient systems
