Key Responsibilities
BIM Model Management
- Develop, maintain, and manage Revit models for architectural and interior design projects.
- Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), LOD requirements, and client standards.
- Conduct regular model audits and quality checks to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate federated models using Navisworks or BIM 360/ACC for clash detection and resolution.
Design Coordination
- Facilitate inter-disciplinary coordination between Architecture, ID, MEP, and Structural teams.
- Lead coordination meetings and issue resolution sessions to ensure design integrity.
- Review and validate design changes for BIM impact and update models accordingly.
- Produce coordination reports, clash detection logs, and issue trackers.
Documentation & Deliverables
- Prepare and extract construction documentation, schedules, and drawing sets from BIM models.
- Generate material schedules, room data sheets, and interior finish schedules as required.
- Manage drawing issue sheets and ensure compliance with project drawing conventions.
- Support preparation of tender and construction-stage BIM deliverables.
Standards & Process Improvement
- Implement and enforce BIM standards, templates, and workflows across the design team.
- Assist in developing and updating company BIM protocols, content libraries, and Revit families.
- Train and support junior team members on BIM tools, workflows, and best practices.
- Stay current with BIM technology advancements and recommend process improvements.
