MEP BIM Coordinator
About the Role
A leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in Dubai is seeking an experienced MEP BIM Coordinator to join their engineering team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating MEP BIM models while ensuring accuracy and seamless alignment with architectural and structural disciplines. This position requires technical expertise, proactive thinking, strong interdisciplinary coordination skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and coordination of BIM models for MEP services
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues across all disciplines
- Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and other design teams
- Ensure timely delivery of BIM deliverables aligned with project milestones
- Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards, project protocols, and applicable authority regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Approximately 8 years of MEP BIM experience in the Middle East region
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and other relevant BIM tools
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems design and coordination
- Solid understanding of structural and architectural integration
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
