Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve the contractor's BEP, MIDP, TIDP, and BIM workflows.
  • Conduct regular multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
  • Review federated models using Navisworks and Revizto.
  • Track and close clashes/issues through issue-tracking workflows.
  • Attend weekly/bi-weekly progress meetings with the contractor and client.
  • Ensure contractor BIM models comply with EIR, BEP, and project BIM standards.
  • Review LOD progression (LOD 300 400 500).
  • Verify parameters, naming conventions, model health, and model QA/QC.
  • Support 4D/5D simulation reviews when required.
  • Check model-extracted shop drawings and Ensure drawings matches approved model.
  • Review and verify scanning/point cloud data against as-built model.
  • Ensure correct alignment, coordinates, and LOD 500 accuracy.
  • Prepare and update all required BIM-related reports, including model progress, issue logs, approvals, and any other reports as requested during the project.
  • Oversee model/data submissions via the project CDE.
  • Ensure correct file formats, metadata, and revision control.
  • Conduct occasional site inspections when required to compare physical progress with the BIM model.
  • Capture on-site issues using digital tools (e.g., Revizto, BIM 360, etc.).
  • Report deviations and track their closure through the BIM platform.
  • Validate the final as-built BIM model, COBie/asset data, and digital deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment with O&M and employer requirements for all deliverables.
  • Deliver training on BIM workflows, CDE use, clash detection, and 4D/5D tools.
  • Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar role in the construction or engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other related tools
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project workflows, and BIM standards
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and process improvement.
