BIM Coordinator

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination activities and ensure effective collaboration between architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and other project disciplines.

The successful candidate will coordinate BIM models between the Egypt engineering team and UAE project teams, identify and resolve coordination issues, and ensure compliance with project BIM standards and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and other disciplines.
• Manage federated BIM models and conduct regular model coordination reviews.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate the resolution of technical and spatial conflicts.
• Review models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with UAE-based project managers, engineers, consultants, and site teams.
• Track clashes, RFIs, design changes, and coordination issues through to resolution.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with approved project standards, BEP, and client requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of BIM workflows, standards, and quality procedures.
• Conduct model audits and quality checks before submission.
• Maintain proper model version control and coordination records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of relevant BIM experience, preferably within construction, infrastructure, landscaping, or engineering consultancy.
• Strong experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Hands-on experience with BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings.
• Experience coordinating with teams across different locations is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
