We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to manage and coordinate Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes for landscape and swimming pool design & construction projects. The role involves ensuring accurate BIM models, coordination between disciplines, clash detection, and compliance with project standards from design through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage BIM models for landscape works and swimming pool systems, including hardscape, softscape, irrigation, water features, pool structures, MEP interfaces, and finishes.
- Develop, maintain, and review 3D BIM models using tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, or related software.
- Ensure model accuracy, data consistency, and adherence to BIM standards, project requirements, and LOD specifications.
- Perform clash detection and coordination between landscape, swimming pool, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
- Collaborate closely with landscape architects, pool designers, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Prepare and manage shop drawings, coordinated drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs derived from BIM models.
- Support construction teams with BIM-based coordination, revisions, and as-built models.
- Maintain BIM execution plans (BEP) and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in resolving design and constructability issues related to landscape grading, drainage, pool systems, and site utilities.
- Manage model updates based on RFIs, design changes, and site feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
- 57 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator, preferably in landscape and swimming pool projects.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navis works and ACC, also related BIM tools (Dynamo is a plus).
- Good understanding of landscape elements, swimming pool construction, filtration systems, drainage, and waterproofing concepts.
- Experience with clash detection, coordination meetings, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and project documentation workflows.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
