A LEADING COMPANY IS HIRING | BIM ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

A leading company is hiring an experienced BIM Electrical Engineer to join the Technical Office / BIM Department at Senior / Lead Level.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. BIM MODELING & DOCUMENTATION

• Develop and maintain accurate electrical BIM models using Revit MEP, covering power, lighting, and low-current systems where applicable.

• Produce electrical shop drawings and technical documentation required for construction.

• Coordinate cable trays, conduits, containment, panels, and equipment within the BIM model.

• Maintain electrical model version control and documentation according to the project BIM Execution Plan.

2. BIM COORDINATION & CLASH MANAGEMENT

• Lead electrical clash detection using Navisworks, identifying conflicts with architectural, structural, and mechanical systems and proposing resolutions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary BIM teams to maintain a coordinated, clash-free model.

• Coordinate electrical design revisions with consultants.

• Review and validate the technical output of junior BIM modelers/technicians.

3. TECHNICAL OFFICE & SITE COORDINATION

• Prepare and respond to RFIs related to electrical BIM deliverables.

• Support technical submissions, including shop drawings, coordination with single-line diagrams, and coordination reports.

• Apply the Saudi Building Code (SBC) to electrical modeling, containment routing, and system coordination.

• Coordinate with site execution teams to ensure BIM deliverables align with installation sequencing and site conditions.

• Conduct quality control checks on electrical models and drawings.

• Support construction readiness reviews.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 6–15 years of total construction experience, combining site execution and technical office experience.

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on professional BIM experience.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience applying the Saudi Building Code (SBC).

• Expert-level Autodesk Revit MEP – Electrical.

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Strong experience in Shop Drawing Production and BIM Coordination.

• Working knowledge of power and lighting system coordination within a BIM environment.

• Familiarity with cable tray, conduit, and low-current system layouts is preferred.

• Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is an advantage.

• Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.

SALARY

• 5–8 years of experience: EGP 45,000 – 55,000

• 9–15 years of experience: EGP 50,000 – 65,000

Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
