BIM Electrical Modeler

Role Description The BIM Electrical Modeler is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate BIM models for electrical systems within building and infrastructure projects. Daily tasks include interpreting construction drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (including architecture and MEP), and updating models to reflect design changes and site conditions. The BIM Electrical Modeler will ensure models comply with project standards and client requirements, support clash detection and design reviews, and prepare documentation and outputs from the BIM environment for use by engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with strong experience in electrical systems modeling.
• Knowledge of Architecture and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination, including integration of electrical models with other disciplines.
• Ability to interpret and produce detailed Construction Drawings and model content accurately based on design documentation.
• Experience as a Modeler in engineering or construction projects, ideally within large-scale or complex building environments.
• Familiarity with industry-standard BIM software (e.g., Revit or equivalent) and related collaboration platforms.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work within project timelines and quality standards.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an on-site project environment.
