Job Description

About ParaSets

At ParaSets, we are redefining the future of the built environment by bridging Information Management with cutting-edge software development. We build intelligent digital twins, automate complex engineering workflows, and develop custom software solutions that empower leaders in manufacturing and construction around the world.

Our culture is built on innovation, autonomy, and collaboration. We are a lean team of forward-thinking engineers, architects, and developers who challenge traditional industry boundaries and value creative problem-solving. By joining us, you will work on high-impact projects, explore new ways of delivering solutions, and have a meaningful influence on the direction of our core technology stack.

We set high standards, we take our commitments seriously, and we work to clearly defined deadlines. In return, we believe people deserve a working day that ends when it says it does, and a team that pays attention when someone is struggling and takes action to help.

We also believe that when things go wrong, the first question should be about the system, not the individual. If output falls short, we look at the standards, checklists, processes, and training before we look at the person. We believe in creating an environment where people can raise concerns, learn from challenges, and do their best work without being expected to quietly absorb a broken system. That is not just a sentiment. It is a principle we work by.

Your First Assignment

Our new project is a vertical transportation BIM package on a major development in Saudi Arabia: 250 lifts, and escalators in over 10 buildings. We take the manufacturer models, position and enrich them, produce the complete as-built drawing set, and hand over LOD 500 models carrying COBie asset data.

You will be one of 23 engineers producing the drawing set, working to a standard proven on a pilot building before volume production begins. It is a focused, high-volume Revit role on deliverables held to international standards, a demanding environment, and one of the fastest ways we know to become genuinely good at sheet production.

What you'll do

  • Draft, develop, and annotate shaft, plan, section, and detail sheets in Revit, working from coordination models developed in-house.
  • Work from a sheet register allocated before drafting begins. Numbering, title blocks, view templates, and annotation families are defined in advance, allowing you to focus on accurate, consistent delivery.
  • Check every sheet against the manufacturer's equipment drawings before it goes to review.
  • Complete your own self-check before submission and address review comments promptly.
  • Apply as-built revisions once site data is received.
  • Issue through the CDE (Autodesk Construction Cloud) using the correct status and revision code.
  • Record your hours per sheet daily. We track production in sheets-per-week so that we can identify capacity, process, or training issues early on.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of BIM experience, including real drawing development and delivery; sheets you have produced and issued, not training output alone.
  • Bachelor's degree in architectural, mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering, or an architecture / technical drafting diploma.
  • Strong Revit skills, including sheets, views, view templates, dimensions, tags, and title blocks.
  • Strong written and reading English. You will work with manufacturer drawings and write review responses in English.
  • Genuine attention to detail. You notice the missing dimension, incorrect tag, or inconsistent annotation before it reaches review.
  • Able to work across Revit 2020, 2022, and 2024 side by side, without upgrading a client model.
  • Able to work on-site in Alexandria, Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours per week.

A plus

  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, ISO 19650, or shared-parameter workflows.
  • Experience with vertical transportation, including lifts, and escalators.
  • AutoCAD and Navisworks experience.

How we work

  • Structured onboarding. You will be trained on our templates, standards, and toolset before moving into production. Nobody is expected to figure everything out on day one.
  • Support while you settle in. Your sheets are reviewed daily by a dedicated team leader for the first two weeks, then weekly once your output has stabilized.
  • Clear expectations. You will have a defined scope, a baselined schedule, and a written definition of what done means.
