Role Description The BIM HVAC Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm 1st 6 October. The person in this role will develop detailed HVAC designs and BIM models for building projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Daily tasks include preparing and updating 2D and 3D drawings, coordinating HVAC layouts with other disciplines, and performing load calculations and system sizing. The BIM HVAC Engineer will also review design issues, support problem-solving during construction, collaborate with project managers and engineers, and provide technical input on maintenance and repair considerations in the design. Participation in design reviews, documentation updates, and continuous improvement of internal standards and templates is expected.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core HVAC engineering skills, including HVAC Engineering and general HVAC knowledge.
• Candidates should possess HVAC Design capabilities, including system layout, equipment selection, and load calculations.
• Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills, ideally with experience in BIM tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP) for coordinated HVAC modeling.
• Candidates should possess understanding of Maintenance & Repair principles to ensure designs support safe and efficient operation over the building lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with experience in building services or MEP design.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications, and to work accurately with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with relevant HVAC codes and regulations; experience in similar on-site roles is an advantage.
