Position Title : BIM Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced BIM Manager to lead and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across infrastructure and roads projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing BIM standards, managing multidisciplinary models, and ensuring effective collaboration among engineering, design, and construction teams.
The BIM Manager will oversee model development, coordination, and quality control while ensuring compliance with project BIM requirements, company standards, and industry best practices. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in BIM workflows, particularly for infrastructure and roads projects.
Key Responsibilities:
BIM Strategy and Governance
- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide BIM standards, protocols, and workflows aligned with international best practices such as ISO-based BIM frameworks.
- Establish and manage project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
- Ensure BIM processes are consistently applied across all project phases including design, coordination, construction, and handover.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and promote BIM adoption across departments.
Model Management and Quality Assurance
- Oversee the development, management, and coordination of multidisciplinary BIM models including architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Establish model development standards including LOD (Level of Development) requirements and data structures.
- Conduct periodic model audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
- Ensure proper model version control and data management within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
Coordination and Clash Detection
- Lead interdisciplinary BIM coordination activities throughout project lifecycle.
- Facilitate coordination meetings with design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Manage model review and clash detection processes using coordination tools such as Autodesk Navisworks.
- Ensure timely resolution of clashes and design conflicts prior to construction activities.
Team Leadership and Training
- Manage and supervise BIM Coordinators and BIM Teams across projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to BIM teams regarding BIM methodologies and tools.
- Conduct BIM training sessions and workshops to enhance internal capabilities and ensure consistent BIM practices.
BIM Technology and Systems Management
- Manage and support BIM authoring and coordination platforms including:
- Autodesk Revit
- Autodesk Navisworks
- Autodesk BIM 360
- Autodesk Civil3D
- Evaluate emerging BIM technologies and recommend digital tools to enhance project delivery efficiency.
- Support integration of BIM with project management systems, scheduling tools (4D), and cost management platforms (5D).
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain BIM standards manuals, templates, and model libraries.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM requirements, client specifications, and contractual BIM deliverables.
- Manage model exchange formats and interoperability requirements including IFC workflows.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction with significant exposure to BIM environments.
- Experience working on large-scale multidisciplinary projects is highly preferred.
Technical Skills :
- Advanced proficiency in BIM authoring and coordination software including Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Civil 3D , Dynamo , COBie.
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination, and clash detection processes.
- Knowledge of Level of Development (LOD) standards and digital asset management.
- Experience managing Common Data Environments (CDE) such as Autodesk BIM 360.
- Familiarity with 4D scheduling and 5D cost integration methodologies.
