This established specialised contractor require a BIM Modeler Draftsman specializing in Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) to join our design and construction team.
The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate, detailed BIM models and technical drawings for EIFS-related projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for EIFS systems throughout the project lifecycle using Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM software.
Produce detailed shop drawings, 3D models, and construction documents focused on EIFS installations.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate EIFS components into overall building models.
Ensure model accuracy, quality, and integrity by conducting regular model audits and clash detection using tools like Navisworks.
Assist in developing project-specific BIM standards and templates for EIFS modeling.
Participate in coordination meetings, providing technical support and expertise related to EIFS systems.
Maintain thorough documentation of design changes, revisions, and project progress.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience (minimum of 5-7 years) as a BIM Modeler / Draftsman preferably with expertise in EIFS systems.
Proficiency in BIM software: Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
Strong knowledge of EIFS systems, materials, construction methods, and best practices.
Familiarity with building codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications related to EIFS.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Certification in BIM modeling (preferred but not mandatory).
