BIM Plumbing

Role Description The BIM Plumbing professional will be responsible for developing and coordinating plumbing models within Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms for projects based in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role involves designing and updating plumbing layouts, pipe routing, and equipment placements in alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing architectural and structural models, integrating plumbing systems, resolving clashes, and generating accurate shop drawings and documentation. The role also includes collaborating closely with engineers, architects, and other BIM specialists, providing technical support during project execution, and assisting in maintaining model integrity and data accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in Plumbing and Pipe system design, with experience in BIM modeling for building services.
• Practical experience in Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial or residential projects.
• Ability to deliver responsive and professional Customer Service to internal project teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in BIM software (such as Revit or similar tools) and understanding of relevant building codes and standards.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Previous experience in plumbing design and BIM coordination, preferably within the Middle East construction sector.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to work effectively in cross-functional project teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage but not required.
