Public Health BIM Technician
Location: New Cairo, Egypt
Hire Pals is currently partnering with a highly regarded multidisciplinary design consultancy to hire a Public Health BIM Technician to support the delivery of complex building projects and lead electrical design activities across multiple project stages.
The role will suit an experienced electrical design professional who is comfortable taking ownership of technical delivery, coordinating with multiple disciplines, engaging with clients and guiding more junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure BIM compliance and quality.
• Develop and coordinate BIM models.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination.
• Maintain CAD/BIM standards and project files.
• Perform Navisworks clash detection and assist in clash resolution. • Participate in coordination meetings and workshops. • Support project delivery strategies and workflow improvements. • Check drawing quality and ensure QA/QC compliance. • Coordinate with regional design teams when required.
Skills & Experiences
• 2-8 years of experience as a BIM Technician – Public Health & Fire Fighting
• Degree or relevant professional qualification.
• Expert in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM Collaborate Pro, BIM 360 Docs, Dynamo and Office 365.
• Strong Public Health & Fire Fighting systems knowledge.
• Excellent English communication.
• Knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements.
