We are currently recruiting a Operation Supervisor - Biofuel Plant for our client based in Dubai, UAE.
Job Summary:
The Operation Supervisor - Biofuel Plant is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant biofuel production. The role involves supervising operational staff, managing raw materials, coordinating production and maintenance activities, ensuring quality and EHS compliance, and maintaining accurate operational and financial records to support uninterrupted plant performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day biofuel plant operations to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
- Supervise shifts, assign tasks to operators and technicians, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety protocols.
- Manage sourcing, storage, quality inspection, and full traceability of raw materials such as feedstocks, alcohols, catalysts, and additives.
- Monitor production output and by-products, maintain accurate logs, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports using the ERP system.
- Handle site-level financial activities including PR/PO processing, petty cash management, and basic cost control.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance with AMC contractors to ensure high equipment availability.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, EHS regulations, and proper handling and disposal of waste and by-products.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in plant operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in biofuel, renewable energy, or chemical processing plants is preferred.
- Diploma or technical certification in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
