Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Biomedical Engineer to join our veterinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of medical and laboratory equipment used across our veterinary clinics, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair veterinary medical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment servicing and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).
- Ensure all equipment complies with safety and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the procurement, installation, and commissioning of new medical equipment.
- Train clinic staff on the proper operation and basic maintenance of medical equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or replacements when required.
- Manage spare parts inventory and minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the UAE as a Biomedical Engineer or Medical Equipment Maintenance Technician.
- Must be currently available in the UAE and able to attend interviews and join the recruitment process.
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting medical equipment in a hospital, healthcare, or veterinary environment.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, calibration, and equipment safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- UAE driving license is an added advantage.
