| Duties & Responsibilities | | |
| | - Design and implement biostatistical and bioinformatics pipelines for omics and large-scale biological data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, metabolomics)
- Perform complex statistical analyses, including modeling, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics
- Provide consultation on experimental design and assist in interpreting results with a strong emphasis on scientific rigor
- Support and co-author scientific publications, grants, and research proposals in coordination with faculty and research teams
- Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams including clinicians, laboratory scientists, computational biologists, and project managers
- Lead the integration of data pipelines and platforms, ensuring compatibility with clinical and research standards
- Mentor junior staff, including training in biostatistics and bioinformatics tools and best practices
- Participate in recruitment efforts and contribute to the development of a bioinformatics/biostatistics section
- Remain current with methodological advancements in bioinformatics, statistics, and data science
