BMS Technician Job DescriptionA Building Management System (BMS) Technician is responsible for the installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of BMS field devices and control panels to ensure proper operation of HVAC and building automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, wire, and terminate BMS field devices (sensors, actuators, controllers, VFDs, meters).
- Perform panel wiring, cable dressing, labeling,assembly and termination.
- BMS controller installation and I/O checking.
- Support commissioning activities .
- Troubleshoot field issues related to wiring, communication, and device faults.
- Perform loop checking and point-to-point testing.
- Ensure installations follow approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications:- Diploma or ITI in Electrical / Electronics / Automation.
- Basic knowledge of BMS systems and HVAC controls.
- Familiar with field protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, (basic level).
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams & clasic control.
- Experience in control panels and field device installation.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.

- Transferable Kuwait Residency Article 18 is Must
