Job Description

Board Representative Education Group

Location: New Administrative Capital, Egypt

We are hiring a Board Representative to act as the owners voice in operations and the primary liaison between the Board, the School Principal, and the senior leadership team.

Who are we

An agile, tech-forward international school delivering high standards with Cairo's momentum. We value integrity, transparency, and measurable impact.

What you will do

  • Turn the owners vision into clear priorities, timelines, and measurable results; track delivery and report progress.
  • Be the single point of contact between the Board, the School Principal, and all department heads (academics, operations, finance, admissions, marketing, information technology, and facilities).
  • Lead governance: set meeting agendas, prepare briefs and dashboards, and record decisions, risks, and follow-ups.
  • Align execution across departments: coordinate plans, remove obstacles, and ensure strategic projects and budgets are delivered on time.
  • Monitor performance: follow key indicators (enrollment, retention, academic outcomes, parent satisfaction, staff stability, and cost control) and recommend corrective actions.
  • Build relationships: represent the school as a senior brand ambassador with regulators, partners, and peer schools.
  • Manage risk and compliance: surface issues early, direct escalations, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Communicate with impact: craft clear updates, memos, and presentations for internal and external audiences.

What you bring

Fluent English and Arabic; confident, clear communicator and presenter.

812 years of leadership experience in premium K12 international schools, with 35 years in an owners liaison or board representative.

Preferably known in the local market with experience in comparable roles at competitor schools.

Executive presence: highly presentable, strong personality, and high emotional intelligence.

Proven leadership and collaboration skills; able to influence without direct authority.

Strategic planning and analytical skills; comfortable with dashboards, budgets, and risk registers.

Excellent organization and follow-through; meticulous with documentation and meeting actions.

Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (suites, project trackers, CRM/ERP).

What we offer

Salary: competitive executive package commensurate with experience.

Transportation, social, and medical insurance.

Professional development and leadership growth opportunities.

Notes

This role reports to the Board/Owners and works day-to-day with the School Principal.

Occasional evening/weekend commitments for board meetings and major school events.
