Body and Paint Repair Shop Manager
Responsible for leading Body, Frame & Paint operations at the Main Workshop while ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role integrates technical expertise with strong leadership and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations Management: Manage the daily operations of the B&P workshop to ensure a smooth workflow, timely service delivery, and compliance with operational standards.
- Insurance Experience: Establish and nurture strong relationships with insurance partners. Respond to inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of technicians and service advisors. Monitor their performance, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Service Quality Assurance: Ensure all services and repairs meet quality standards and manufacturer specifications through regular inspections and audits.
- Inventory & Resource Management: Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability while controlling costs and minimizing waste.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Language: Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Experience 5 to 7 years in automotive service operations, including at least 2 years in a managerial role (experience with buses is a significant advantage).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
