Bookkeeper

At BookBI, we're building the next generation of AI-powered accounting software that helps SMEs automate bookkeeping, invoicing, VAT, and financial management.

We're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who understands the day-to-day financial challenges of small businesses and wants to help shape the future of accounting.

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities
• Record and reconcile financial transactions
• Prepare and review financial reports
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with VAT compliance and reporting
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date
• Collaborate with the product team by sharing insights that improve the BookBI platform

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills in English
