Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the companys Forex transactions.
- Update accounts regularly, including Forex trading accounts, bank statements, and ledgers.
- Maintain awareness and accurate handling of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Process daily financial transactions, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded in the accounting system.
- Monitor and manage cash flow related to Forex trading activities.
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts with a focus on Forex operations.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and international accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the trading and finance teams for accurate reporting of Forex transactions.
- Support the external audit process by providing relevant documentation and information.
- Stay updated on developments in the Forex market and their impact on financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping within a Forex brokerage or similar financial setting.
- Knowledge of UAE corporate tax regulations isessential.
- Strong understanding of Forex trading and its financial implications.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
- Experience in managingaccounts receivable and payable.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and international accounting standards.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
