- Role - Bookkeeper
- Salary - 3000-4000 AED
- Contract - 6 Months
Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, payments, and expense documentation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare, record, and post journal entries as needed.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files.
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support the external accountant with VAT filings, tax submissions, and year-end audits.
Invoice & Payment Management
- Issue and track customer invoices.
- Verify supplier bills and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up when required.
Administrative & Documentation Support
- Maintain contracts, financial documents, and compliance records.
- Manage classified documentation securely and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support general administrative tasks that relate to financial operations.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables a plus).
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with VAT processes and corporate tax filings.
- Familiarity with cloud-based financial systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
