Position: BOQ & Quotations Specialist
Department: Design / Projects
Job Overview:
The BOQ & Quotations Specialist will play a key role in supporting the design and project teams by preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost breakdowns, and project quotations. The role requires a strong understanding of architectural and interior design drawings to ensure accurate quantity take-offs and alignment with project specifications and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive BOQs based on architectural drawings, interior layouts, and project documentation.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and quotations for furniture, finishes, materials, and other project elements.
- Analyze drawings and specifications to ensure correct quantity take-offs and cost calculations.
- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and supplier teams to obtain pricing and technical details.
- Review and update BOQs and quotations in response to design revisions or client requirements.
- Maintain a database of supplier pricing, material costs, and quotation templates for efficient project costing.
- Support the design and sales teams with cost analysis during project proposals and client presentations.
- Ensure all quotations are prepared in line with company standards, project budgets, and timelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Previous experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, or project quotations.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and basic project costing tools.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with design, procurement, and project teams.
