Job Description

As a PR Assistant Manager for Bottega Veneta, implement strategic public relations initiatives to enhance brand visibility, maintain positive media and VIP relationships, and effectively communicate the brand's key activities in line with global communication direction. Support the PR Manager in handling monthly PR action plans and reporting results and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to maximize press coverage and social conversation. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the luxury fashion industry, excellent communication skills, and sense of urgency.

Job Scope

  • Maximizing brand exposure and enhancing brand positioning through thorough brand news pitching, product placement and celebrity endorsement
  • Developing story angle & arranging special feature story
  • Maintaining relationship with Press & Stylist & VIPs

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Planning
    • Assist in the planning and execution of comprehensive PR action plans to elevate the brand's image and increase media coverage.
  • Press/ VIP communication
    • Create compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials aligned with the brand guideline.
    • Conduct media outreach and follow-up to generate media coverage in relevant publications, both online and offline
    • Strategically pitch brand news and promote key product launches to target media
    • Assist in the development and execution of celebrity endorsement and influencer engagement identifying relevant VIPs.
    • Support the PR Manager in coordinating media interviews, press events, and product launches, and celebrities domestic/overseas event attendance ensuring smooth execution and positive media experiences.
  • Media relations
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with press, stylists, and entertainment industry experts to generate organic coverage and product placements.
  • PR inventory
    • Control all the inventory of PR samples and collaterals.
    • Track delivery status of PR sample order by season.
  • Others
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging PR practices, providing insights and recommendations to improve PR strategies and tactics.
    • Support retail marketing by providing e-dm materials.
    • Closely work with the Marketing, Retail, Merchandising and other departments to ensure integration of PR activities.

Working Relationship

  • Internal: all other divisions such as MD, Retail, CRM, Inventory, HR as well as HQ
  • External: press, stylist and other partners including agencies

Requirement

  • Bachelor degree
  • + 7 years of experience in PR, preferably in the luxury industry or a related field. Experience in a PR agency or in-house PR department is desirable
  • Passion for the fashion industry
  • Attentive to details with flexible & positive thinking
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with pleasant, proactive, passionate, outgoing personality
  • Fluent in both speaking and written English/ Korean

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge and high interest in luxury fashion industry

Skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to communicate with people from different background and levels
  • Skillful at MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
