We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations at the branch level. This role ensures compliance with Saudi financial regulations and internal policies while supporting accurate reporting, budgeting, and financial control. The Accountant acts as a key liaison between branch operations and the Corporate Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and corporate accounting policies
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and closing activities
- Monitor expenses and support cost control initiatives
- Coordinate petty cash and supplier payments with Accounts Payable
- Handle student-related financial transactions (refunds, receipts, etc.)
- Prepare and file VAT, zakat, and other tax obligations in compliance with KSA regulations
- Support internal and external audits
- Align reporting requirements with Corporate Finance
- Stay updated on SOCPA regulations and financial reporting standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- SOCPA certification (required)
- 1–3 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia
- Strong knowledge of VAT, zakat, and local financial regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English
