We are supporting a confidential search for a Brand Director to lead the end-to-end strategy and performance of a portfolio of international fashion brands within a large, multi-channel retail and distribution environment.
This role partners closely with senior leadership and carries full commercial and brand ownership, including strategy, go-to-market execution, financial performance, and principal relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Development & Delivery
- Contribute to the definition and execution of long-term brand strategies, growth ambitions, and KPIs across assigned brands
- Drive brand equity, consumer loyalty, and sustained market leadership while protecting profitability
- Ensure alignment between global brand direction and localized market execution
Brand & Category Leadership
- Set clear objectives for category leadership teams across buying, merchandising, assortment planning, and space optimization
- Define and oversee go-to-market strategies, including pricing architecture and channel execution
- Ensure consistent and effective execution across multiple retail and consumer touchpoints
Principal & Partner Management
- Co-own relationships with international brand principals, ensuring strategic alignment and long-term partnership value
- Support commercial negotiations, joint business planning, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure adherence to contractual and operational brand standards
Financial & Performance Accountability
- Partner closely with Commercial Finance on OTB, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Deliver top-line growth and bottom-line performance, with shared accountability for brand-level ROI
- Drive disciplined cost control while enabling sustainable revenue expansion
Candidate Profile:
- Senior commercial leader with end-to-end brand ownership experience in fashion, lifestyle, sports, or consumer-driven retail
- Strong exposure to multi-brand portfolios and international principals
- Proven track record managing P&L / GP / OTB in complex, high-volume environments
- Strategic yet hands-on, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
- Experience operating across multiple channels (retail, wholesale, digital, marketplace)
