Job Description
Brand & Commercial Executive - Distributor Management
Key Responsibilities
1. Market & Distributor Management
• Act as the primary point of contact between Brand and assigned distributor/retail partners.
• Lead structured Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with distributor management.
• Drive alignment on sales targets, marketing plans, product launches, and strategic priorities.
• Hold distributor accountable to agreed KPIs and performance targets.
2. Financial & Commercial Performance
• Own and monitor market-level performance including:
• Sell-in and sell-out targets
• Revenue growth
• MSRP Enforcement
• Market share development
• Monitor stock aging and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure pricing integrity and prevent unauthorized discounting.
3. Assortment & Product Strategy
• Approve and optimize assortment strategy aligned with brand direction.
• Ensure balanced representation across key collections.
• Monitor SKU productivity and recommend assortment adjustments where required.
• Lead structured planning and execution of new product launches.
4. Brand Positioning & Visual Merchandising
• Safeguard brand positioning within every assigned market.
• Ensure compliance with VM and brand guidelines across all POS.
• Conduct VM audits and drive corrective actions where needed.
• Approve local adaptations of marketing and communication materials.
5. Marketing & Activation Oversight
• Align and approve annual marketing plans and budgets with distributor partners.
• Oversee execution of in-store activations, campaigns, and brand events.
• Evaluate ROI on marketing investments.
• Ensure all activities enhance brand desirability and long-term equity.
6. Distribution & Channel Strategy
• Evaluate and approve POS expansion, relocation, or rationalization proposals.
• Ensure appropriate channel mix and brand representation standards.
• Support long-term market development initiatives.
7. Reporting & Market Insights
• Develop structured performance dashboards covering:
• Sales performance
• Inventory health
• SKU productivity
• Marketing effectiveness
• Provide actionable market insights and risk assessments.
• Proactively identify growth opportunities and operational risks.
Qualifications & Experience
• Master's or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in brand management, preferably within watches, luxury goods, fashion, or premium consumer brands.
• Experience working with distributors or multi-market operations.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Proficiency in Excel and performance reporting tools.
