Job Description

The Brand Specialist supports the General Manager in executing category and brand strategies by providing structured analysis, operational coordination, and day-to-day portfolio support across assigned brands or product lines.

The role focuses on market analysis, performance tracking, launch execution, OEM coordination, and sales enablement, operating within centrally governed pricing, planning, and aftersales frameworks. It acts as the analytical and execution backbone for the category, ensuring disciplined follow-through on portfolio initiatives and commercial plans.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Market Analysis

  • Support analysis of market trends, customer demand, and competitive activity across assigned brands or segments.
  • Track product performance, mix, volumes, and market share against targets.
  • Prepare portfolio insights, dashboards, and presentations for GM and leadership reviews.
  • Support identification of portfolio gaps, improvement opportunities, and lifecycle risks.

OEM & Product Coordination

  • Act as the day-to-day operational interface with OEM counterparts on product information, specifications, and updates.
  • Coordinate product data, technical documentation, homologation inputs, and market requirements.
  • Support preparation of OEM reviews, launch readiness materials, and performance updates.

Go-to-Market & Launch Support

  • Support execution of product launches, campaigns, and go-to-market initiatives approved by the GM.
  • Coordinate timelines, materials, and readiness across sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Ensure accurate and timely product information is available for sales tools, digital assets, and customer materials.

Sales Enablement & Field Support

  • Support sales teams with product knowledge materials, competitive comparisons, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Assist in preparing bid support, tender documentation, and customer proposals (especially for fleet and B2B segments).
  • Collect and consolidate field feedback to inform portfolio and go-to-market improvements.

Performance Tracking & Governance

  • Track campaign effectiveness, launch performance, and sales execution metrics.
  • Support reporting cadence for category reviews, OEM updates, and internal governance forums.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting inputs and systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Business Planning & Performance, Pricing, Marketing, and After Sales teams.
  • Ensure category initiatives are aligned with central pricing, demand planning, and service strategies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad-hoc strategic projects led by the GM.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 36 years of experience in automotive, industrial products, or commercial operations roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience supporting product, brand, or portfolio management activities.
  • Comfortable working with OEMs, internal stakeholders, and sales teams.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and execution skills.
