Role Summary
The Broadcast / AV Engineer will be responsible for the on-site installation, configuration, testing, and operational support of broadcast and audiovisual systems across a stadium environment. The role is delivery-focused and requires hands-on experience supporting live or critical AV operations during a time-bound project.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure AV and broadcast systems, including displays, video walls, cameras, microphones, speakers, and encoders/decoders
- Integrate IP-based AV systems with the underlying network and control platforms
- Configure and support conferencing systems such as Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Webex
- Perform system testing, calibration, commissioning, and readiness checks
- Troubleshoot audio, video, and signal distribution issues in live environments
- Coordinate closely with Network Engineers and IT teams during deployment
- Prepare as-built drawings, configuration documentation, and user guides
- Provide support for live events, broadcasts, or critical AV operations as required
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- 7+ years of experience in AV or broadcast engineering
- Strong understanding of audio, video, and end-to-end signal flow
- Proven experience with IP-based AV systems and IPTV platforms
- Hands-on experience with vendors such as Crestron, Extron, Poly, Cisco, Barco, or similar
- Working knowledge of network fundamentals (VLANs, QoS) is a strong advantage
- Must be available onsite, full-time throughout the implementation period
