ROLE:
We are looking for a Broadcast Technician to support the setup and operation of live streaming broadcasts, especially for sports and live events. The role will be responsible for connecting broadcast equipment, configuring live streams, monitoring quality, and troubleshooting technical issues during broadcasts.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Broadcasting, Film Production, Electronics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in broadcasting, live streaming, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience with cameras, encoders, and live streaming equipment.
- Good knowledge of RTMP, SRT, HLS, SDI, HDMI, and NDI.
- Understanding of video encoding, bitrate, resolution, FPS, codecs, and latency.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as bandwidth, latency, packet loss, and connectivity.
- Good technical knowledge of broadcast workflows, video signal flow, audio systems, and live streaming technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during live productions.
- Experience with sports broadcasting or live events is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Ability to work under pressure during live broadcasts. And prioritize tasks during live operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and configure cameras, PTZ cameras, audio equipment, and encoders.
- Connect cameras to encoders and configure the complete camera-to-stream workflow.
- Configure live streams including resolution, frame rate, bitrate, codec, audio, and keyframe settings.
- Understand and work with streaming protocols such as RTMP, SRT, and HLS.
- Understand basic video formats and technologies including SDI, HDMI, NDI, and IP video.
- Monitor live streams for video/audio quality, stability, bitrate, and latency.
- Troubleshoot issues related to cameras, audio, encoders, network connectivity, and streaming.
- Perform technical checks before live events and ensure all equipment is ready.
- Monitor network performance, including upload bandwidth, latency, and packet loss.
- Support backup solutions such as 4G/5G, secondary internet connections, and backup equipment.
- Coordinate with the technical and content teams during live events.
- Document broadcast setups and configurations.
