Brokerage Operations Specialist

Role Description The Brokerage Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt. This role is responsible for managing daily brokerage operations, including trade processing, reconciliations, and settlement activities to ensure timely and accurate execution. The specialist monitors transaction flows, resolves operational issues, and coordinates with internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth operational performance. Additional responsibilities may include preparing operational reports, supporting compliance and risk management processes, and contributing to the improvement of workflows, tools, and documentation. The role requires strong attention to detail, consistency in following procedures, and a commitment to high standards of operational excellence in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex transaction data and reconcile discrepancies accurately.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, brokerage operations, and basic investment products, or strong interest and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and operations tools (e.g., Excel or similar), and comfort working with technology-driven workflows.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• High level of attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to processes, including compliance and risk controls.
• Ability to work on-site in Egypt and collaborate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant operations or finance experience is an advantage.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or brokerage operations is beneficial but not required for highly motivated learners.
