Summary

GENERAL ROLE:

As a Buggy Host at Miraval The Red Sea, your primary role is to deliver seamless, safe, and personalized transportation experiences for guests and colleagues across the resort. You serve as a key touchpoint in the guest journey, creating meaningful first and lasting impressions through warm interactions, intuitive service, and mindful presence.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate guest needs while embodying Miraval's philosophy of mindfulness and life in balance. As a Buggy Host, you are not only transporting guests but also curating moments of connection, comfort, and care throughout their stay.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guest Transportation & Experience

  • Provide timely, safe, and efficient buggy transportation for guests and colleagues across the resort.
  • Greet guests warmly, using their names whenever possible, and engage in meaningful, personalized interactions.
  • Offer information about resort facilities, activities, and services during transit in a natural and engaging manner.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance, ensuring a seamless experience.

Safety & Compliance

  • Operate buggy vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all resort and local safety regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and safety standards are met.
  • Report any maintenance issues or incidents promptly to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure guest safety at all times, including proper seating and adherence to capacity guidelines.

Service Excellence

  • Act as an ambassador of Miraval's brand values, delivering service with mindfulness, empathy, and authenticity.
  • Maintain a calm and composed demeanor, even during peak operations or challenging situations.
  • Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism and care, escalating when necessary.

Coordination & Communication

  • Maintain clear communication with Front Office, Concierge, and other departments to ensure efficient guest movement.
  • Respond promptly to transportation requests via radio or assigned communication tools.
  • Support arrival and departure experiences, including luggage coordination when required.

Vehicle & Area Maintenance

  • Ensure buggies are clean, well-presented, and aligned with luxury standards at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness of buggy stations and designated waiting areas.
  • Assist in organizing buggy flow and parking in high-traffic areas.

Cultural Stewardship

  • Embrace and reflect Miraval's philosophy of mindfulness and well-being in daily interactions.
  • Create a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere for guests throughout their journey within the resort.
  • Respect the privacy, preferences, and individuality of each guest.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or guest service preferred
  • Valid driving license (as per local regulations)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Basic knowledge of safety and vehicle handling

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (IF ANY)

  • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
  • Ability to assist with light luggage handling if required
  • Ability to work outdoors and navigate resort terrain

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Outdoor and indoor resort environment
  • Dynamic and guest-facing role requiring flexibility and responsiveness
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions typical of the Red Sea destination
