The project:

Mace is providing strategic project management consultancy for major new build stadiums, multiple stadium redevelopments and wider precinct transformations in Riyadh. The scope includes the delivery of new stadiums, increasing existing stadia capacity, delivering major mixed-use amenities and introducing robust knowledge-transfer to ensure operational excellence and long-term sustainability beyond construction.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Senior BMS Lead responsible for design, integration, and delivery of advanced Building Management Systems (BMS) for FIFA stadiums and sports venues.
  • Covers HVAC, electrical, mechanical, ICT, and ELV systems aligned with international standards and tournament requirements.
  • Develop and implement national-level design standards and operational frameworks for BMS and control systems.
  • Oversee full delivery of BMS, IBMS, PLC-SCADA, and energy systems from concept to handover.
  • Ensure adherence to FIFA Venue Requirements, SBC, EXPRO 2030, and related standards.
  • Supervise design reviews, tendering, construction, testing, commissioning, and MSI integration.
  • Drive CAFM/CMMS platforms, digital twins, and asset management integration with national command centers.
  • Provide technical guidance, stakeholder engagement, and support for tournament operational planning and business development.

You'll need to have:

  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field PMP certified with knowledge of ITIL, CCNA, and international codes (TIA/EIA, BICSI, ASHRAE, NFPA, BS7671).
  • Extensive years in Control & Instrumentation Systems within the GCC region proven success in delivering mega projects, including FIFA stadiums or large-scale sports venues.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management adept at managing design teams, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring timely project delivery under tight deadlines.
