We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary School Business Teacher to join our team from an immediate start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Business education and committed to supporting students to achieve success, particularly at GCSE level.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Business lessons in line with the school's curriculum and academic standards.
- Teach and prepare students for GCSE Business examinations.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to inspire students and promote critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and positive learning environment.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Establish an inclusive classroom culture that fosters curiosity, respect and a love of learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents about student progress and take part in parent-teacher consultations.
Skills Description
Candidate Requirements
- A degree in Business or a related field, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE).
- Proven experience teaching Business at secondary level, including GCSE.
- Strong understanding of effective classroom practice and approaches to assessment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
- A commitment to professional development and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
