Purpose Of The Role
The Business Analysis Team Lead is responsible for managing a team of business analysts to deliver business requirements, solutions, and improvements that align with organizational goals. They serve as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and quality across all business analysis activities.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts
- Assign tasks and manage workloads
- Provide coaching and performance feedback Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business owners, product managers, and tech leads
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement gathering sessions Requirements Management
- Oversee the collection, documentation, and analysis of business requirements
- Ensure traceability and clarity from discovery to delivery Process Improvement
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements
- Implement business analysis best practices and frameworks (e.g., BABOK, Agile BA)
- Apply IIBA guidelines and business analysis disciplines.
Strategic Planning
- Align analysis efforts with organizational strategy
- Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization Quality Assurance
- Review team outputs for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure alignment with compliance, security, and business policies

Typical Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field
- 12+ years of experience in business analysis
- 3+ years in business Analysis leadership role
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA are a plu
