The primary purpose of this role is to serve as the analytical core for the General Manager, translating complex business data into clear, decision-ready insights. The Business Analyst will be responsible for producing executive-level reports, building interactive Power BI dashboards, designing high-impact presentations with strong visual storytelling, and automating recurring workflows using Microsoft Power Platform tools. The role demands mastery of the full Microsoft 365 ecosystem and the ability to turn raw data into compelling narratives that drive strategic decisions at the leadership level.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and produce executive-level analytical reports for the General Manager, covering performance across all departments, branches, and key business KPIs.
- Build, maintain, and continuously enhance interactive Power BI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into sales, service, aftersales, marketing and operational performance metrics.
- Create visually compelling presentations for the GM using advanced PowerPoint design, storytelling techniques, and structured data narratives that communicate insights clearly to senior leadership.
- Develop and manage advanced Excel models, including dynamic dashboards, complex formulas, pivot tables, and automated reporting tools that support performance tracking and business planning.
- Design, build, and deploy workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate (MS Flow) and Power Apps to eliminate manual processes, reduce turnaround time, and improve operational efficiency across departments.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot across the M365 suite to accelerate report generation, extract insights from large datasets, and enhance the quality and speed of analytical outputs for GM-level consumption.
- Collaborate with department heads and team leaders to gather data requirements, understand business context, and ensure all analytical outputs are relevant, accurate, and action oriented.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities for recurring reporting cycles, data consolidation, and approval workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint integration.
- Ensure adherence & compliance to policies, procedures, BMW QMA & ISO standards, Health & Safety requirements, ethical code of conduct & values.
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or in a similar analytical and presentation-focused role, ideally supporting senior leadership.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: dynamic dashboards, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formula-based models.
- Proven expertise in Power BI: DAX measures, data modelling, calculated columns, drill-through reports, and publishing to Power BI Service.
- Strong PowerPoint design skills with a proven portfolio of executive-level presentations: layout design, typography, data visualization, and visual storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate (MS Flow) for building automated workflows, approval processes, and system integrations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps for building low-code business applications and connecting to data sources across M365.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot across M365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) to accelerate and enhance analytical work.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple high-priority deliverables simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Sector: Business analytics, reporting, or performance managementpreferably within the automotive, retail, or service industry; experience supporting C-level or GM-level stakeholders is a strong advantage
- Location Scope: Local UAE/GCC experience preferred; international exposure is a plus, especially in environments with a strong Microsoft 365 and Power Platform culture.
