Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Strategic Business Analysis & Advisory
• Partner with senior stakeholders (Product Heads, Operations, Compliance, Finance, IT leadership) to:
o Shape business problems into well-defined initiatives
o Assess feasibility, impact, and value
o Recommend solution options (process, system, policy, or hybrid)
• Act as a trusted advisor, not just a requirements gatherer
• Challenge assumptions and ensure alignment with business strategy and customer outcomes
2. End-to-End Requirements Ownership
• Lead the full requirements lifecycle, including:
o Business requirements (BRD / FSR)
o Functional requirements
o Non-functional requirements (NFRs)
o Regulatory and compliance requirements
• Ensure requirements are:
o Clear, complete, unambiguous, and testable
o Traceable to business objectives
o Signed off by appropriate business owners
• Own and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
3. Stakeholder Management & Governance
• Act as the single point of accountability for business requirements
• Facilitate and lead:
o Workshops
o Design walkthroughs
o Requirement validation sessions
o UAT readiness and sign-off
• Manage conflicting stakeholder priorities and drive consensus
• Ensure proper governance, approvals, and documentation standards are followed
4. Solution Design Collaboration (BA vs Tech Model)
• Work closely with:
o Technical Leads
o Architects
o QA
o Vendors / System Integrators
• Validate that proposed technical designs:
o Fully meet business requirements
o Do not introduce unnecessary complexity
o Respect business rules and regulatory constraints
• Challenge technical solutions when they deviate from business intent
5. Change, Impact & Value Management
• Conduct:
o Business impact analysis
o Process impact assessment
o Data impact analysis
• Identify operational readiness gaps
• Support change management activities:
o Business readiness
o Training inputs
o Communication alignment
• Define and track business success metrics / KPIs
6. Testing & Acceptance Leadership
• Own business acceptance criteria
• Lead or govern UAT:
o Ensure scenarios cover end-to-end business flows
o Validate outcomes against original business intent
o Provide formal business sign-off
Job Specifications
Education / Certifications:
• B.SC. in communication or computer engineering or related discipline
• 2-3 years relevant experience
• Understanding of project management
• CBAP is a plus.
• Experience in Agile environment is a plus.
