Business Analyst Cum Developer (Jira)

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end operations and maintenance of a custom Jira Data Center application, including incident management, troubleshooting, and deployment planning.
• Administer and maintain Jira Data Center, including upgrades, configurations, plugin management, and ScriptRunner (Groovy) scripting.
• Manage REST API integrations, troubleshoot application issues, and perform basic SQL analysis and database performance tuning.
• Configure and support Jira Plans (Advanced Roadmaps), ensuring effective cross-project dependency management.
• Maintain SSL/HTTPS infrastructure and support migration and infrastructure-related activities.
• Ensure SLA compliance by managing ticket queues, incident resolution, and service requests across all priority levels.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and translate business needs into Jira features and enhancements.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact between engineering teams and business users.

Requirements

• Experience administering Jira Data Center in an enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with ScriptRunner and Groovy scripting.
• Knowledge of REST API integrations, debugging, and application support.
• Basic experience with SQL, database troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of SSL/HTTPS, infrastructure, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Jira Advanced Roadmaps (Plans) configuration and administration.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and SLA-driven support.
• Strong business analysis, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
