Job Overview
As a Business Analyst at Emirates NBD, your role is to drive end-to-end delivery of digital banking initiatives within the Everyday Banking tribe by combining business analysis, product support, and testing expertise. The role ensures seamless implementation, high-quality customer experience, and strong coordination across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Own end-to-end analysis for business initiatives, from requirement gathering to documentation and validation.
- Conduct detailed impact assessments and define user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze business and customer data to uncover insights and inform decision-making.
- Support the Product Owner in backlog grooming, prioritization, and roadmap alignment.
- Collaborate closely with designers, architects, and developers to ensure feasible and value-driven solutions.
Business & Platform Support
- Support business stakeholders during UAT and post-release phases.
- Monitor platform performance and report production issues; coordinate with IT teams for resolution.
- Document operational processes and create user manuals, FAQs, and training material.
- Respond to production support queries and ensure business continuity for supported platforms.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Prepare and execute test cases (functional, integration, regression).
- Log, track, and retest bugs in collaboration with QA and development teams.
- Validate production deployments to ensure a smooth go-live experience.
- Perform data validations and assist in automation testing efforts wherever applicable
Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 47 years of experience in a similar role across digital or banking environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in test case writing and defect tracking
- Familiarity with digital banking platforms and industry best practices
- Understanding of APIs, process mapping, and customer journey design
