We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support BAU operations, IT projects, system enhancements, and application delivery within a government/public-sector environment. The candidate should have strong business analysis, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, and project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day BAU operations, ensuring system availability, performance, reliability, and service continuity.
- Act as the key point of contact for business users on incidents, service requests, system issues, and enhancements.
- Manage and prioritise incidents, service requests, and change requests in line with SLAs and service delivery standards.
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate issue resolution with IT teams, vendors, and relevant government technology stakeholders.
- Gather and analyse business requirements and support system enhancements, testing, releases, and deployment coordination.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and compliance, including adherence to applicable data protection requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to systems and processes.
- Manage vendors and coordinate service delivery in an SLA-driven environment.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, and project documentation.
- Support data quality, reporting, and analytics to enable operational and policy-making insights.
- Manage stakeholders effectively across business and technology teams.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with experience working with developers, UX teams, and business users to deliver responsive and maintainable web applications.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or other requirements/project management tools.
- Knowledge of government/enterprise technology platforms and tools will be an added advantage.
Mandatory Experience
- Prior experience working within a government agency/public-sector environment.
- Must have independently managed IT projects, either as a Project Manager or by double-hatting as a Business Analyst / Project Manager.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in BAU, SLA, vendor, incident, and change management environments.
